SIGNIFICANTLY YOURS
The only witness to birth of The Significant Figures, on that day in 1997, was a Realistic 2-track tape recorder that we discovered in a particular basement in southern New Jersey. Fortunately it came with two microphones. Unfortunately, it's motors could not maintain a consistent speed throughout the length of any of our early (epic) rock anthems. These days our recordings tend to stay at the same pitch and tempo in which the music was originally performed.
In the years in between we've had the opportunity to work in small and big studios, recording our music and other's, with vintage microphones and "communication microphones", through consoles worth more than a nice house and laptop computers. We've made friends with studios of varying sizes, made friends with people working in concert venues, and made friends with musicians playing all types of instruments. Some have become Significant Figures themselves.
More to the point, we are always looking to produce, engineer, collaborate with, and promote interesting people making interesting music. Our only aim is to make a good song even better using whatever resources necessary. If you have a good song, and live some where near New York City or Boston, send us an e-mail.
