Things have been quiet for almost two months now. One reason is that Boston, MA focus of The Significant Elipse has shifted to Brooklyn, NY.
The other reason is that we have been working on a new EP - a collection of hits - possessing a level of quality sure to pull even the most stubborn among you past the event horizon.

Sports fans and non-sports fans alike can now rejoice! The Significant Figures have released the long rumored Running Back to the world. Sports fans will find that they can relate to the song's snappy title. And the fact that the song has nothing to do with football will surely give non sports fans something to chew on. We here at The Significant Figures aren't about to take sides in the age old debate on the importance of professional football; we just want everyone to enjoy the song.
In other news, we now have twenty free songs available on http://www.thesigfigs.com. Whats that? Something is different you say... indeed. Www.thesigfigs.com has been overhauled for supreme readability, usability, and sustainability. Now with even more of the bold, clean lines that you've come to expect from The Significant Figures. More urgently, there is a new b-sides section with various oddball tracks that will keep you coming back for more. And more!

We know things have been a bit slow tempo wise, and maybe even a bit sad, but we've begun a fast and dangerous ascent out of the depths of our despair to present "Weatherman." A tune sure to please with its engaging melody and surprise ending that will leave you reeling!
By the time you've recovered, you'll be knocked back down by the "2" in the "1-2 punch" of Weatherman / Running Back. Then, when you're in physical therapy trying to walk again, the driving beats of "Clint Walkingstick" will have you up and running for your life. Then maybe you can relax to "Teddy."

Carson has decided to celebrate the entrapment of our 50th fan in a way that only Carson can, and he's offering it up, no questions asked, on The Significant Figures wall board (.com/google).
But let's get serious for a minute. We know you always had a hunch that there was a dark side to The Significant Figures (why does amplifier man look so surprised!?). Well we decided to share with you a glimpse of the dystopian, inter-apolocolyptic world view that has been bubbling under the surface of our work. Yes, it's a new song. It's called Pitchfork Man.
Finally friends, I just want to say that life is full of ups and downs, and the only way I know to guarantee a smile is to share The Significant Figures with one of your closest friends. Send him/her one of our songs. We would really appreciate it!
